Terri comes from an experienced background in childbirth. She has received her Master’s in Midwifery from Bastyr University with an additional certification in Botanical Medicine. She has a personal connection with plant medicine, which is integrated throughout her work as she harmonizes herbal formulations for her clients. She believes that knowledge and education are essential to empowering a positive birth experience. She takes special care to ensure that families are informed and prepared for their journey ahead.
Terri is called to birthwork to empower, educate, and to support families on their birth journey. She is deeply passionate about serving communities of color and continues to be an advocate to decrease maternal health disparities across the nation, specifically through midwifery care and education. Post graduate school she continues to deepen her cultural birth lens with the Indigenous Birthworker’s organization and enjoys teaching and learning about traditional birth practices globally. Teachings which are not readily available through a textbook. She is also involved with the Canoe Journey Herbalist project and continues to deepen her plant medicine knowledge post-grad school. As a BIPOC midwife in the community she strives to diversify healthcare and create more pathways to access perinatal care that is personal and individualized. She cares for her doula and midwifery clients alike, with a rich understand of the birth process and compassionate, culturally sensitive care that all birthing people deserve. Birth is a ceremony and should be honored as such.

She is a loving mother of two boys (6 & 18). In her free time she enjoys the outdoors with her family hiking, swimming, camping, working with plants and serving others.
