Welcome and thank you for joining the ODC!  

You're now a part of a community of professional and compassionate doulas who strive to support our community and each other.  We want to encourage each other and believe that both our group and individual member's success should be celebrated!
Below are detailed descriptions of the roles within our group and those currently volunteering:

Treasurer - Rachael Cook
  • Maintains our bank account and balances our checkbook (2 members are listed on the bank account at all times to ensure proper checks and balances)
  • Collects annual membership dues
  • Collects receipts and reimburses members for approved business expenses 
  • Updates members on account balance every other month at ODC meeting or by email

Webmaster & Liaison - Stefanie Anderson
  • Keeps our web page current
  • Welcomes new members and answers questions 

Marketing & Event coordinator - Diksha Berebitsky
  • Orders marketing material 
  • Seeks out community venues for the to ODC to present at and updates group with information at ODC meeting or by email

Operations director - Emily Pixie
  • Sends group emails and meeting reminders
  • Takes notes at ODC meetings and emails minutes 
  • Keeps ODC meetings and MTDN on track topic and time wise

These positions hold a 6 month minimum term.  If you're interested in supporting our group by volunteering for one of these positions please let one of the current group leaders know! ​

ODC Meeting Schedule

Meetings will be the 1st Monday of the month at 9:30 - 11 am. Please check back for location updates. At 9:30 we will address new member information and questions, followed by ODC business at 10, and an optional lesson on something pertaining to doula work at 10:30. Meeting dates are as follows:​​

Meet the Doula Night Policy

​All community doulas are welcome to attend MTDN.  Non-members are welcome to observe only, members of the ODC in good standing have the option to participate and present on topics covered throughout the evening.
